How to replace a Dell M140 LCD Inverter

If you have a Dell M140 laptop and the screen is dimmer or is unable to be consulted at all because it is so dark, the screen may not be the problem. It may be the inverter, which is inside a laptop and feeds the backlight. If the UPS dies or is dying, the power will not supplied to the backlight and the change occurs. LCD (screen LCD)

Disconnect your Dell M140 laptop from its power source and remove the battery.

Find the four screws holding the front of the laptop screen to the Assembly. They will be in the four corners of the facade covered by rubber screw covers. Use your small knife to pop the cover screws.

Remove the screws holding the front cover by you through small Philips screwdriver.Place your fingers between the facade and the LCD screen, and gently detach the front of the entire screen. Lift the LCD screen on the entire LCD screen and place it down on your son's keyboard.Unplug going to the drive. The drive can be found at the bottom of the entire screen below where the screen was in place. Two son will in the drive. We go to the light, while the other goes to the video card.

Place the screen back to the front screen assembly.Snap on.Put rear screws back in place before bezel.Replace the screw covers on the front bezel.
