Increase the speed of Windows Vista - My Number One Tip For Speeding up Windows Vista
When was the last time you restart your Windows Vista to speed up Windows Vista? One day a week, a month ... do not remember? Restarting your Windows Vista is the fastest, most effective, you can increase the speed of Windows Vista.
The Vistas Windows today are more powerful than ever. Almost every new machine you now is a 64-bit machine and has at least 6-8 GB of RAM. However, this fact means only that program requirements are dramatically so.
So what is Windows Vista memory and how does it increase the speed of Windows Vista?
When you start a program on your Windows Vista, it is responsible in memory. For the record, I am referring to the RAM (Random Access Memory). This program will remain stationed in the RAM during operation.
So what happens when you use all your RAM?
So let's say you have about 10 or 12 open programs, and your PC is running really slow. The reason Most likely you have used any or all of your RAM and Windows Vista is the need to use a large amount of virtual RAM (we will put that for another post).
You can instantly free up some of this memory while closing some of these programs, but you do not know is there may be still parts of memory that are always busy, even after closing some of your programs.
With this occurs over a long period of time will really tend to slow down a computer running Windows Vista. The only way you will clear the memory for good is to either stop or restart your Windows Vista.
How often if you restart Windows Vista to increase speed?
In general, I recommend not close all day. Why? Well, the electronic components on a Windows Vista are more strained during startup or shutdown. I would recommend a good restart once a week. This will really help speed up your Windows Vista.
In no case is restarting Windows Vista the "panacea" solution to increase the speed of Windows Vista. Having a great piece of software like Microsoft Certified Uniblue SpeedUpMyPC 2010 is a great way to really make the adjustments needed to make your machine works like a rocket and a speed of Windows Vista total increase.
